hi, my name is miles but you can also call me cybr (the name of my sona). i find it pretty hard to describe myself but i’ll try my best!
i live in the northeast united states with my two cats and my spouse. when i manage to be productive in my free time i like to draw, craft, take pictures of bugs, and mess around with various tech stuff. my ability to be productive is greatly impaired by my physical and mental disabilities that i won’t specifically list here (but i talk about them sometimes).
i really love listening to music, usually i do every day! a few of my favorite artists right now are of montreal, sElf, the beatles, and talking heads. some of my other current interests are pokemon, nintendo, mlp, and warrior cats. there's also things that i am quite passionate about and may write blog posts about such as veganism, social justice, and digital privacy + foss.
some footnotes; i can have a habit of rambling on about irrelevant things or overexplaining myself, sorry in advance! i'm also not the best at wording things or using the best grammar, but i hope you don't mind too much. even though i'm not really looking to make friends, i'm always open to anyone messaging me if they feel alone or need help for pretty much any reason. thank you so much for reading!
a few random facts
- the scents i use the most are strawberry and vanilla!
- my current favorite pokemon is jolteon, and i have an eeveelution ita bag!
- if you couldn't guess from the way this site looks, my favorite color is blue. in fact, almost everything i own is blue!
- i'm nocturnal! i work nightshift and i actually prefer it that way :3
- all of my music that i listen to is hosted locally on a raspberry pi server. no subscriptions!
about the site
this site was created for quite a few reasons! for one, i wanted to have a place for all my art and personal info without relying on social media. i also write blogs which can be informative or just about things that i care about. i'm not the biggest fan of social media (i'm sure you aren't either) so i really enjoy using personal websites to connect with others.
the next thing on this site's to-do list is making the resources page, which will have information on a variety of topics! mainly, digital safety + privacy and queer stuff is what i want to focus on. my biggest dream is to make this a place where i make an impact on other's lives. i have had many situations where i would have really appreciated good advice from someone who's been through it before. so yeah, anywayzz, i guess this site is a combination of all those things! i have a bunch of ideas that i'd love to put on this site one day, so maybe the next time you come back there'll be something new :3
stuff you may like to know about this site:
- ai is not and will never be used in any form here. i will not interact with or link to any sites that do use ai.
- computers, phones, and tablets should all be able to use this site without any issues. it's designed be completely responsive, so please let me know if it isn't on your device!
the settings menu allows you to change the font, text color, text size, and many other things. this is mainly for legibility and accessibility, so please let me know if it's still difficult to read.(work in progress)
